COTTAGE BREAKS

The Old Railway Tavern is no longer an inn, and hasn't had beer barrels in the cellar, or customers in the bar for a few years now, but it's walls could probably tell a few tales! Delightfully situated within a short walk of 2 pubs and the village green and stream, you can now enjoy the character of this wonderful old stone fronted property as a self catering holiday let.

Two good sized bedrooms with king sized beds and beautiful revealed stone walls make this a perfect property to take a break with friends - there'll be no arguing about who gets the best bedroom! 

Our green room has a big brass bed with a superior silentnight matress and a chintzy feel to the bedding and decor.

The blue room has a solid oak bed with a coolmax memory foam mattress.

A third bedroom with 2 single beds mean you don't have to leave the kids at home - or the dogs either, because we're happy to allow pets provided they don't go upstairs - its such a great area for walking its a shame to deny them the pleasure too. 

The lounge is stylishly furnished with a blue and gold Peter Guild suite, and a wood burner to make the room cosy on a chillier evening. The dining room also enjoys an open fire, and we supply a basket of logs to get you going.

There is a well fitted and equipped kitchen with good quality Bosch washing machine, dishwasher and large fridge freezer, and the completely re-furbished beer cellar is great for storing the muddy wellies and walking boots!

With two pubs just a short walk away and a superb butcher just next door, its a perfect location.
